WCG Canada LAN qualification event, usually held in Montreal or Toronto, have been cancelled this year. The gaming community was surprised by the unfortunate news and many have been wondering what was going to happen next? We believe we must commit and devote our best efforts to showcase our talent to the world. In order to sustain the Canadian gaming community, the new WCG Canada organization is proud to announce the very first Starcraft 2 national ONLINE qualification tournament. The event will be held from October 24th through October 30th 2011. WCG Canada will reward 20$+ donators with an invite to the tournament.

The potential and strength of our players will ensure a competitive presence for the ultimate grand final in South Korea that will be held in December 2011. We aim high this year and we are proud to provide opportunity to our best players to thrive in this challenging yet exciting gaming world!

All of this was made possible with the collaboration of TOP Pro Gamer Agency, Starcraft 2 Quebec and all the Starcraft 2 fans across the country who showed their support to preserve our chances of representing Canada at the 2011 grand final event.

We hope that many WCG fans will help to raise the money needed in order to put together a strong Team Canada
